For me I have not received a status update on the website in 3 weeks the last update said it was in their queue and will be sent to an agent soon, but when we went to the store for them to ship it he said it would take 2 weeks for me to get it back its been a month and I still don't have it so if you don't receive your device between 2-3 weeks you are probably out of luck.

Been a month for me since i brought in my 3 month old $2200 laptop.  was told it was a motherboard failure. and parts were needed. After 3 weeks, status still says waiting to be assigned.

I have been waiting almost 1 month. It reached the repair destination within the first week. It was noted it was in a queue yesterday. It was estimated to be repaired and picked up 8 days ago.

Next week will be a month for me. Keep getting excuses. Part was damaged, van broke down. They also give a 12 hour window. We will be there between 6am and 6pm. Sure let me take off work to wait around all day for you not to show up.

Way too long, over 2 weeks now, but what worse is how the BestBuy zombie team treats you as if there is nothing wrong with placing "valued customers" in limbo while they wait with no reasonable care or concern. Better yet, shop elsewhere and dont waste you time or money on geeksquad culture koolaid.

It's taken me over 3 weeks already and no sign of a fixed TV. They keep giving me the same canned response that the part is delayed. Every time I choose the chat option they give me the same copy/paste responses. Don't waste your money buying protection since it doesn't support any timely maintenance or the replacement of equipment.

My tv broke and they are on their 3rd trip out to fix it. The refurbished parts they are using are broken out of the box. They have rescheduled several appts. I will never buy a protection plan again from Best Buy.

Well my TV has been broken sitting in my family room since August 23rd.. I'm going on my 3rd appointment which will put me without my TV for over 30 days. Geek Squad said to BAD, in fact the part that was ordered hasent even shipped yet and it's been 14 days..... I have the 5 year warranty on the best TV Vizo made in 2018. They also said that because the tech made the appointment that Geek Squad can not change it even if the part arrived earlier... They also stated if the tech gets sick I got wait even longer.

My TV broke, and it's been 1 month since I opened my repair ticket. I still don't have my TV back and it seems there is no update yet. I emailed them twice to follow up, but got reply telling me the part would be in the next day and that they would send me an update after. 2 days later, still no update. This Geek squad thing sucks!! And I paid for it too!

no idea how long it will take. But the tech there was pushy and rather disrespectful. Kept telling me I really need to buy a membership. And that since I didn't seem to be to knowable with computer repair as I was questioning the extremely long repair time estimate of over a month. As I have been in the IT field for almost 40 years, most of it on the hardware side, this was laughable. especially when he  was harping on how the techs in the local store were all A+ certified and better then what some home user would be. I honestly started to laugh at him when he said that. I have been A+ certified for 27 years, also have a slew of other Comptia and other certs. (not to mention TEACHING A+, N+ and Security + courses)

Its been 6 weeks now that I've been waiting for my TV to be fixed, which was finally supposed to be fixed in 3 days. Unfortunately, Best Buy/Geek Squad just canceled on me again for the 4th time, now pushing back the approximate part arrival date to another 2 weeks from now. So it'll be at least 2-3 months before I actually get this fixed, if they don't cancel on me for a 5th time.

This is an absolute joke. I've bought $10,000-20,000 of TVs, appliances, laptops, GPUs, etc from Best Buy over the years, and I almost always get the GeekSquad protection plan.

This will be the LAST time Best Buy/Geek Squad gets my business. And people wonder why Best Buy is struggling, while their competitors like Amazon are dominating them. I am a reasonable person, I am willing to wait a reasonable amount of time. But making someone wait 2-3 months for a repair is totally unethical and horrible customer service.

It took me ONE DAY I called and they came out the next day. As it turns out the pixel damage was such that the TV had to be replaced. I had to call the exchange team the next day and was told that I get credit for the full purchase price toward a new television. I was able to upgrade from the 65" LG OLED to a 77" LG OLED for $100 + the cost of the 5 year protection plan $749.99. Great plan, great service.

I purchased a return and replace extended warranty. When I brought my monitor back they said they had changed the contract. Now it is return and off to the repair center policy. 20 days later no word on when my monitor will be returned. After numerous calls to Best Buy call center in India no help has been given. Best buy has lost another customer.

I took my iphone in, they shipped it to apple for a replacement unit that same day. Then apple sent the replacement to best buy within 2 days of it getting to them. Then the status changed to "awaiting replacement unit".  Its now been 3 weeks, and best buy still doesn't let me go pick it up. Apple usually uses overnight shipping, so they probably already received it a good while ago, but nobodys bothered to sort through anything. This is the last time i ever use geeksquad.

First and also last time I will buy an Asus laptop I was in a bind and needed a laptop with 32gb of ram asap as I had just lost all my computer equipment to a house fire. 3m in and it up and dies. So far it's been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting to receive my Asus laptop back. I checked the status as of this morning via phone (03/13/24) and the automated voice stated that "(My) repair has been opened but they are waiting to assign an agent". I also received a text a few days ago stating that they are waiting on a part. I will give it 2 more weeks, but if the status is the same by then, I'm going to the location I dropped it off at and requesting my laptop back.
