I installed mine on my patio. It's a good buy for me as I have to replace them every few years as they stay outside 24/7 and it's much cheaper this way than a true outdoor TV. I would think that if it were inside it's life expectancy would be longer. Good picture and sound.

I bought it based on reasonable reviews and an excellent price (there was a $100 off offer just before Christmas that made the price even better). My kids use it in our rec room -- mostly for games (PS/3 & PS/4) which don't support 4K output and watching sports and movies. So far, it's been a solid display, particularly for the price.
