• You're probably looking at the V series for $200 less. The M series Quantum uses Quantum dot technology. A comparable version to this is the Samsung 8 series which cost around $300 more than the $400 M series Quantum. For the money it's a really good TV. I'm buying one soon. After I did my research I came to the conclusion that the M series Quantum Vizio is the best TV for the money. And if you're looking for a good wall mount checkout the Echogear fully adjustable wall mount on Amazon. Good luck!

• Although the Quantum M-series isn't new this year, the 50" is. The less expensive model doesn't have the features the Q-M-50 does. I believe its the only 50" class (49.5") that utilizes the Quantum technology. It is supposed to be superior with better blacks and a little deeper colors with a fast refresh. I caught this model on sale which helped make my decision. It does have wall mounts however I use a console table. Independent reviews might reveal other features of the Quantum technology that help explain the differences.

• It may be the V or D E series. Pay the difference, you'll appreciate the difference!!! I upgraded from a V series to the M series. Worth it!

• I was on the same boat making that choice. After doing the research it was the picture quality of their new quantum color technology that is added to this line which makes a big difference in contrast and clarity
