• yes it does. there is a button on series 6 for 3D sound. this adds full time surround sound when on

• It does, but only if the output supports surround. So with Netflix, you get the surround, but when watching TV, even movies on TV, it will depend on their settings.

• It works anytime a Dolby 5.1 sound signal is presented (such as Netflix sometimes delivers).
