So the updated Hall Effect model is 6922621505044 and the older potentiometer (ALPS) is 6922621501787. The newer model only came out in March of this year, whereas the older model was released over three years ago. 8BitDo is clearing out their ALPS models for $10 off MSRP, while Best buy appears to be selling them at MSRP - so I sure do hope that you get what you want. Keep in mind however that the ALPS model uses less battery. If you aren't using the joysticks for most of your games, the older model will go longer between charges. That's because the Hall Effect model sticks have a constant current draw, whether or not it is moving The ALPS model sticks draw 1/10th of the current when idle. Nonetheless, if Best Buy is selling them for $45, they had better be the Hall Effect model and they should be more clear about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I see that the manufacturer has lowered the price of the ALPS versions of both the SN30 Pro and the SN30 Pro 2 to $34.99. Surely these must be those, just more expensive. What a shame, since they are available through the manufacturer with free shipping.
