“Are the rear speakers wireless? Do you have to run the wire to back of your seating from the receiver? Has anyone tested Atmos sound? How good are the upfiring .2 front speakers?”

The diagram with the Onkyo 925W sound system shows the "rear" speakers on the sides of the room and only slightly behind the listener. The wires that come with the system are sized for the receiver to be in the front of the room and the long wires for the rear speakers are about 20 feet. I have my receiver in the back of the room and bought 50 foot wires to run to the far corner and have no problems. The front speakers do need to be low for the uplift sound to be impressive.
