A:AnswerChromebooks run the Chrome operating system. This operating system uses apps like an Android phone or tablet, so if the app is available on Google Play or Chrome web store then it should work fine.
Chromebooks are different from Windows laptop products in that they are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud. Because of this they don’t have much for on board storage but they also are not expensive either. Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet so you cannot download and install applications or .exe files. If you need to use third party software applications that must be installed on the computer, a Chromebook is likely not for you, where a Windows laptop would suit you better.

A:AnswerBecause they are NOT EXPERTS. lol. Seriously though, Chromebooks should NOT be compared directly to computers unless you are comparing LOWER TIER PCs/ laptops to them. Chromebooks are the EVOLUTION of tablets (RIP). You have some desktop/ laptop functionality, but at a reduced rate. The processors are similar to some mobile phones (why the Play Store has so many 'phone' games available for Chromebooks) and both system and drive memory are waaaay less than a typical PC/ laptop. This is to ensure a lower entry level price.
I ordered this Chromebook mainly for browsing and streaming in areas of my house where I do not want a TV (bedroom), but may want to stream or even read an online book.
