• A:Answer The screen is 19.5 inches across diagonally. If you include the bezel (the black edges all around), then it is 21.5 inches across diagonally from corner to corner. It is 18.5 inches across from edge to edge measured horizontally and 11 and 1/8 inches high. After you attach the included stand, it measures 13 and 1/4 inches tall.

Q: QuestionAnyone having a hard time assembling the monitor to the monitor stand?I just can't put the input on the monitor stand into the monitor itself? It doesn't seem to click or even go in completely and I already have the monitor stand on the big "ovalish thingy" that came with the monitor. I also try to screw it down with the screw on the ovalish thingy but it doesn't keep the monitor standing.

• A:Answer I bought one of those Acer monitors (SA242Y) yesterday. I STILL can't put the frickin' stand together! Short story: no stand, unusable monitor. The so-called instructions don't help, either. I'm taking the stand back to where I bought it and see if they can put it together. If they can't, then I'm taking the whole thing back and demanding a refund.

• A:Answer The native resolution of the monitors listed (S200HQL CBD, V206HQL ABD) are 1600x900. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 native resolution is 1920x1080, you will most likely have to lower the resolution setting on your Surface to match what the native is on the monitor for it to work correctly.

• A:Answer There is no HDMI cable in the box, this monitor only has VGA and DVI inputs. You would need to get an adapter cable which can be bought online (HDMI to DVI) but this monitor also has no speakers built in, so you would need external speakers as well... (surround sound or sound bar)

• A:Answer Yes it would be a good monitor but 2 things have to be taken into account. 1 it's on the small side to you'd have to use a security camera monitoring system that allows you to expand a monitored section (if you're using multiple cameras) and 2 make sure you have the correct display port connection. But it will work as a screen to monitor a security system
