Q: QuestionWhen I try to play a 120hz game (Rainbow Six Siege) on my ps5 the console doesn't allow my monitor to go to 120hz even when I have my console and game on performance mode. It gets well over 120 fps in game and my monitor still isn't switching to 120hz.

• A:Answer FPS is determined in the game settings. The monitor does support up to 144hz but when connected to a gaming console that is limited to 60hz, that is the highest refresh rate it will go.

• A:Answer The console supports 120hz and the monitor supports up to 144hz, in doing a search it appears some games may not support the higher refresh rate on the ps5.
