Can the battery be easily replaced null

You'll need to take laptop apart. Directions can be found on YouTube.

The bottom case assembly must be removed to access the battery slot. As long as there is no damage to the laptop, you can replace the battery without voiding the warranty. There are videos on YouTube that may be helpful as well.
