“Does this model have a 2.5" slot for an HDD and another 2.5" slot for an SSD so that both can be used at the same time? I know a 2.5" slot holds an HDD and can also be used to hold an SSD. The SSD already in this laptop already has the SSD, so is it 2.5"?”

This Aspire laptop has one M.2 SSD slot and one 2.5" slot for a SATA3 or SSHD, for more space.
