This ships with Windows 10 in S mode which is a version of Windows 10 that's streamlined for security and performance. To increase security, it allows only apps from the Microsoft Store, and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing. If you need to install non-Microsoft applications you will need to opt out of S mode. This can be done easily with an Internet search for how to opt out of Windows 10 in S mode.
