“i cannot seem to reduce the brightness of the laptop. just bought it and f5 f6 for brightness adjustment do not work.. absolutely nothing works to reduce the brightness and my eyes keep hurting and getting headaches”

Just checked mine, too, and they don't seem to work either. Check with BestBuy or the manufacturer?

While pressing the FN key, press the F5 or F6 to adjust brightness. If you need help with this please feel free to contact Acer support at 866-695-2237.
