• time to fully charge battery to 100% varies. if it discharges down to 65% can be up to 2 hours. also keep in mind the backlit keyboard is useful at night, but it does say online 7 hour battery. user experience can vary.

• That depends on how low your battery is to begin with. I have let my battery get down to around 25% and it took about 3 hours to get back to 100%. I've noticed that you can plug your charging cable into laptop while using it. It will still charge. Hope this helps?
