• 4GB is embedded in the board, the other 4mb is normal. That single stick can be replaced. I dropped a 16GB stick in mine bringing 6total to 20GB.

• Please elaborate what you meant by 4GB embedded on board. From my research on the Best Buy and Acer websites both listed 8GM RAM in its specs for this Acer Laptop. So what is the actual built-in RAM (memory) size on this Acer laptop? Is it 8GB or 4GB?
