• There is a mini-jack on the back of the monitor. Not the most convenient location, but in keeping with the ultra-sleek design.

• Yes, it does have a headphone jack that I hook up to a pair of speakers when I use HDMI, but you can use headphones as well. Just keep in mind that the volume is a little difficult to adjust on the monitor, and that you would have to set it somewhere and control the volume from your source. The monitor does remember the volume when you turn it off, though, which is nice. This is a nice monitor for the price, I recommend it.
