A:AnswerThe cable you might be using only supports up to 120hz, Mine came in already overclocked at 165hz and with VSYNC or capped rate it holds a consistent 165hz

A:AnswerI believe once the power comes back on, the monitor will default to turning on, looking for a signal and if it doesn't find a signal, its going to power itself off.
