Battery life depends on how much juice you're using. If you keep the display at 50% brightness, and use just the word processor, you will have at least 4 hours or battery life. If you are running it at 100% brightness, and are multi-tasking while watching videos, you can expect 2.5--3 hours. If you're going to use this away from a power source, consider dimming the display, and minimizing the number of tasks you're performing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't timed it but it's definitely reasonable. Look into power settings to further increase battery life, and keep programs closed that you aren't using.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery life is not this laptop's strongest feature. Expect 4 to 5 hours of use. Of course battery life is better than a full-size laptop from 5 years past, but it will not match tablets and phones. Worse is the standby time, when the unit is left charg ed d but unplugged on your couch. A tablet or phone will remain available with plenty of standby battery life, but you'll likely find this device dead and needing to remain plugged in between uses. ACER should have added an additional battery in the keyboard to prolong better life and balance the laptop (it is top/screen heavy)
