I really.don't think that's a good idea. Even if it has a good voltage regulator, that extra voltage will be gotten rid of as heat. Heat and electronics is not a good thing

Please try again later.I know you can charge it through the micro usb port. maybe try finding a long cable that is enough for you and an outlet to usb adapter that phones use that will give you similar voltages. This is what I plan to do with mine. also take advantage of this feature by carrying with you a portable charger to charge it even when it's in your car or your backpack. I think that the laptop has a capacity of around 8,000 mAh so any powerbrick with 10,000 mAh will be enough
