“Could I get this to play less demanding games like Borderlands 2 or assassins creed 2? Steam says that the computer would need almost twice the processor speed it has, (1.33 vs 2.2) and that should answer the question, but is there a way to get around that? or would I have to find a different laptop/tablet?”

If u have a android device that you have played it on then there is a way around it. You will need to download an app called blue stacks and u can play all games that you would play on an android device

It's possible, this guy was able to get games with similar requirements to work on his computer, which had only 1.3 ghz. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-/61249155

no the video/audio processors are not Steam gaming capable
