I’ve been researching all of the Acer monitors pretty hard-core for a couple weeks now and I can definitively say this one is OLED. It’s not explicitly stated but I would guess it’s QDOLED since it’s a glossy display.

The panel type on this Predator monitor is OLED. The reference to IPS is a typo.

Display type and panel type are not the same thing. IPS is not a display type. Panel type (IPS) relates to how the pixels are built and behave, and display type describes the general technology used. So a monitor can be both OLED and IPS.
