• Yes, that is correct - it only has 8gb of RAM; however, it can very easily be upgraded. Even if you don't know a lot about computers, you can easily upgrade it, as they made it easy to access without taking the computer apart.

• Yes, the G3-571-73H3 model ships with one 8GB memory stick. If you saw one with 16GB it likely was a different model with the last 4 characters being different, such as the G3-571-77QK: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/predator-model/NH.Q28AA.001
