I personally have not upgraded my ACER Helios 300 RAM as of now since it has not been slow on most application I use, but I would say yes you should get 2 - 16gb 4800 mhz ddr5 or 1- 32gb 4800 mhz ddr5 to upgrade the RAM in the computer.

Just quick correction, dual channel does not matter anymore in ddr5 memory. So it's up to you regarding what should you do about upgrading ram

Yes. Don't get 1 stick of 32, like another person said. The laptop will run faster with 2 sticks (dual-channel).

If you upgrade the ram to 32gb, make sure you get two 16gb sticks because the laptop runs in dual-channel.
