• you may have to specify in the audio controls on Xbox to use the monitor speakers. I don't have XBox but if you use HDMI or display port cords sound does go through. You may also want to go through the monitor settings to ensure the volume is up and sound is on.

• This monitor does have built in speakers. Both HDMI and DP carry audio, so we suggest you go into the menu settings on the monitor and make sure volume is up all the way. If this doesn't work, connect the monitor to a laptop or PC and test audio from there. If you get audio when connected to a different source, you might check with the console vendor for assistance.
