Yes you can do drawings with this Chromebook and because the Google Play Store is available to Acer R 11 Chromebook you have dozens of Drawing Apps available to download and install. You would also need to purchase a styles that works with the Chromebook because the Surface Pen would not work. It may lack the finesse of the Surface Pro for drawing but at a fraction of the price it might suit your needs.
