QuestionI know this has Wireless-AC but does anyone know if it has Dual Band Wireless-AC that supports both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Bands?

- Answer I decided to go ahead and buy this Chromebook so I thought I might as well answer my own question in case anyone else would like to know. Yes, it does have Dual Band Wireless-AC (2.4GHz & 5GHz) which is great news. The 5GHz band is considerably less congested which gives you less interference from other wireless sources. The 2.4GHz band is is commonly used by other wireless networks as well as cordless phones, garage door openers and even microwave ovens which can greatly interfere with a 2.4GHz wireless network. In my neighborhood there are no other WiFi networks using the 5GHz band to cause interfere with my WiFi network.

- Answer Yes you can. There is a port on the left hand side for a standard size SD Card or you could use a MicroSD to SD Card adapter.

- Answer I would choose a more powerful Windows laptop. The software choices for Chromebooks are much more limited, and the graphics power is adequate, but not much more. Chromebooks are more suited for web-based usage.

- Answer Chromebooks don't work like Windows computers: in general you don't download apps. Instead, you access them via the Internet. Word is no exception. So, you will be able to use Word on this computer, and it is free.

- Answer Mine is the most fast computer I've ever seen. I can work with 8 tabs open on mine and it works just as fast. I definitely think it will be fast. You won't be dissapointed.

- Answer The speakers on the Acer R11 chomebook are very good. Much better than other chromebooks and pcs i have used or tried out. Most of the time i have turn down the volume on some apps i'm using because it is so loud. Great for watching videos and Utube.

- Answer It is both a laptop computer and a touch screen tablet. You can use it with the keyboard out or The screen can be folded over so that you are using it like an iPad, hence the 2n1 term.

- Answer Yes, it is an excellent device with enough memory and internal space (SSD) for school/homework, as long as wifi is available and most work is done/saved in the cloud. However, it folds 180 degrees to use as a tablet, and no hard protective case possible for it. So the age of the student and his/her ability to take care of a laptop without a case (once outside its sleeve/bag) would need to be considered. The beautiful white color may get dirty with pen/pencil markings as well. Having said that, I love this 3rd chromebook (in addition to a Macbook Pro, a chromebox, a Windows laptop), and I would definitely buy it again, if needed!

- Answer No you won't be able to use it on a Chromebook. Photoshop Elements 14 will only install on a Windows or Mac computer. There are however several Adobe Photoshop Apps available through Google Play as well many others to chose from.
