• There is no fan in this Chromebook it is passively cooled. So it is completely silent.

• The fan is so quiet, I promise you wont hear it. Mainly bc it doesn't have one. Chromebooks don't need an internal fan

• Very few Chromebooks have fans. This one doesn't. Chromebooks have a longer battery life because of this, and a energy saver technology. They use lower end resource hardware, but work faster and more responsive than a Mac or PC, so they do not require a fan and burn way cooler than a computer. They also need no Antivirus, thus, they are also able to get by with this.
