• I decided to go ahead and buy this Chromebook so I thought I might as well answer my own question in case anyone else would like to know. Yes, it does have Dual Band Wireless-AC (2.4GHz & 5GHz) which is great news. The 5GHz band is considerably less congested which gives you less interference from other wireless sources. The 2.4GHz band is is commonly used by other wireless networks as well as cordless phones, garage door openers and even microwave ovens which can greatly interfere with a 2.4GHz wireless network. In my neighborhood there are no other WiFi networks using the 5GHz band to cause interfere with my WiFi network.
