You do not have to buy anything additional. Everything is preloaded in the device for you. I believe there is a part of the laptop you can stick a memory card it but you literally have all the space you need through your google cloud if that is what you use. If you use gmail then the apps it already has saves everything for you automatically. You can access everything as long as you have internet.
