This PC does not have an SD card reader. You can upgrade the storage in the Acer Aspire XC-840-UB11 by replacing the existing M.2 NVMe SSD with a larger capacity drive, up to 2TB. Acer does not offer extended warranties for refurbished products but you might check with BestBuy directly to see if they offer one.
