Correct. The transmitter hooks up to your main cable box. The receiver hooks up to your third floor loft TV.

Please try again later.Our field-techs have found that not only with this brand, but with ANY brand (of WIRELESS-HDMI-TRANSMITTERS), that objects like large mirrored walls and tall refrigerators "right in the line of sight" between transmitter and receiver, can and do block the transmitting signal. Other than that, they all work "as claimed" within the prescribed distance(s) described in the/a wireless-HDMI-transmitter's product spec-sheet. The more metallic-objects "in-the-way" .... the shorter the transmitting distance becomes. Through drywall/wood framing only, the performance is consistently good.
