“I have the transmitter and receiver hooked up properly. The receiver portion is plugged into HDMI2. When I switch the TV to that input, it shows that there is no signal. Both units are powered up and wired correctly. What is going on?”

Turn off the TV turn it on. leave the TV on HDMI2 and redo the boot up sequence on the transmitter and receiver. This thing is a bit flaky but it does work. the transmitter pass trough won't work with copyrighted material.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure the the device on the transmitter is sending the correct resolution to the receiver. For example, if the transmitter is sending 4K and the receiver device is only 1080, it may not work. Also, make sure the HDMI cables are 1.3 or above.
