“I am just wanting to steam movies from my Laptop to my TV (Basically mirror my laptop). Is this going to work? How bad is the lag?”

• The picture will work fine but sound has a delay. My home theatre have the settings to adjust the audio delay. I set that to get the desired effect. If you do not have that, do not buy this product.

• It will work for this. It takes any HDMI signal and sends it to the receiver. If you have your laptop on your lap and watching TV you are going to see a slight lag. If you can hear both signals, you will hear the lag, but if one is in one room and the other elsewhere, you shouldn't notice the lag. I have it on a cable box in one room and a TV outside. The lag isn't an issue for me.
