“The USB ports face perpendicularly out from the back surface of my wall mounted TV and the gap there to the wall seems like about 1/2 inch. So it does not seem this can possibly work unless there is an L shaped USN intermediate connector. Solution ?”

You can always plug the USB power connector into a power plug. It doesn't have to be in the t. To get power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later........the screen beam mini 2 has a @ 6" hdmi cable that sometimes comes with the unit ..... if it is not in the package any hdmi cable should work , 6" to 1 foot would work best
