Hi Bree. Thanks for your question! Aside from making sure the cord isn't the problem, try plugging the HDMI into different ports on the TV as well as verifying you're changing the input from the TV remote. (i.e. if the HDMI is plugged into HDMI 3 on the TV, make sure your TV is also set to that with the remote).
