I don't work for Geek Sq, but several factors should be considered. Is there an attic above? This would greatly aid the electrical question. Another question, what type ceiling do you have? This will aid in determining the type of anchoring you'll need. The weight of the unit should also be factored into the equation. If electrical can't be run consider wall mounted wire channels similar to the channels used to hide wires n cables for wall mounted TVs. These conduits are paintable so you can at least blend it into ur decor. Remember all things are possible if u employ 'outside the box's thinking.
