Does this version allow you to reduce file size? null

It will enhance scanned images to give a more compact file (assuming you do not have a high end scanner that does this automatically). Other files may be slightly smaller after resaving, but the difference is usually small. Scans however can be greatly reduced in size. I use if when I have scanned documents that can't be emailed because my server won't accept the size of the image.
