• I bought Photoshop Elements 2020 last month because I was using Photoshop Elements 2009 and it was starting to fail and I received warnings that it would be unusable very soon. It's not a subscription software but you should receive free updates from time to time. I've always been satisfied with this software. Although I would love to have the full blown Photoshop, Photoshop Elements is much more affordable!

• No ... this program is not a subscription like any of the Adobe CC programs that you pay for by the month, or year etc. You can just keep using it for as long as you wish! ... I hope this helps.
