Green beans would be too tall for this one. There are different models of this that are bigger and even those may be too small. I have the same size model as this but older and its great for mini jalepenos, herbs, and such. If you go to the scott's aerogarden website, you can organize the plants by what model you have. There are also threads on reddit where you can see other people success with various plants.
