A:Answer The previous answer did not address the question you asked. They spoke about noise cancellation on the headphones, not the microphones. These have dual noise cancelling microphones. I purchased these mostly so that I can take phone calls while still being able to hear my surroundings. On my first use I called someone and had them verify how I sounded. They said that my voice was clear, but lower than when speaking directly into my phone (to be expected since the phone mic is closer to your mouth). They also confirmed that they could barely hear anything going on around me, mostly just after I would finish talking for a second or two.
