• They're not removable. They do have a little bit of swivel out of the way, however being familiar with playing guitar i dont think its enough to allow to play comfortably.

• Yes they are retractable they also swivel to the sides

• Yes, they are bolted in the bottom of the seat rest. The arms are user and there is also an extra inch or so of adjustment to be found there.
