I tried several times to connect this item to my Wifi, but it never connected correctly. It is supposed to be an extender of your Wifi signal, but it never connected as an extender, instead it was determined to remain on its own. I ended up unplugging it, and puttg it back in the box. Now it's resting place is under the cabinet in the bathroom, collecting dust...a waste of my money!!! #disappointed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.During setup, this unit creates a new network identifier with an EXT extension such that a network name "Home" becomes "Home_EXT". The unit uses the "Home" network to send any connections on the "Home_EXT" to your router. To me this indicates that it is not simply repeating the WiFi signal.
