• I just bought the exact same model open box, have not had a single issue yet. I found 95% of the problems I have with my computer's today have to do with windows 10 issues.

• You may have an issue with warranty, if the Alienware was registered to the original owner and they didn't contact Alienware to remove it, it could take two weeks and a call to customer support to change it.
