Earlier answer is baloney. The device works with any mobile phone that runs recent Apple iOS or Android. That covers most phones in the USA--where BestBuy has stores.

Using the "6-lead" device does not require you to attach any wires to yourself. First you start the Kardia App on your phone. Then you lay the device on your leg just above your knee and press down evenly with two fingers of your left hand on the left pad and two fingers of your right hand on the right pad. The pad underneath needs to contact your knee well, so I dampen above the knee with one drop of water (no more) before I start. Then the App starts counting down and EKG traces move across the screen of your phone. That stops in 30 seconds. Then just email the resulting 4-page PDF to a computer with a printer and you've got a 6-lead EKG your doctor can read.
To actually understand the magic of how KardiaMobile6L figures out 6 leads from 3 pads, you would need to know a lot more and study their patents!

Very easy to use. Just put your fingers on the 2 pads and hold in place for 30 seconds. The EKG will display on the screen.
