Atrial fibrillation and flutter are nearly identical. With fib, you will not see the small P waves, as your atria are fibrillating (imagine a bowl of jello shaking). Flutter will show the P waves fluttering, appearing like saw teeth between the large qrs waves.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The readout depicts an EKG very similar to the EKG that is done in the office, except its 6 leads rather that a 12 lead EKG. Save it as a PDF, then email to your physician or show it at the next appointment. Subscription is not needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Answering this questing based on what a doctor said who posted a reply would mean with NO subscription to kardiacare you still get all 6 readings with the 6L unit. The only difference is you get no verbal explanation of the 6 readings.... which I prefer my doctor to make that response. if this is not right please someone clarify this
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is supposed to monitor any type of irregular heartbeat but not 100% sure. You do not have to subscribe to kardia care
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the device will capture your heart rhythm in the same fashion a professional electrocardiogram device. I would strongly recommend upgrading to the 6L (6 lead) model if you wish to accurately identify the nature of an arrythmia rather than just determine if your heartbeat is regular. The additional leads make it easier for a physician to interpret the results. The tracings can be printed as .pdf documents. There are subscriptions available to go with the device, some of which include physician reviews and some use algorithms for interpretation. I'd recommend skipping the subscriptions and reviewing your tracings with your personal physician.
