I assume Best Buy would take a return, but ask them. If you are doing a six lead recording, you need to have the bottom of the unit resting on your leg, not the knee, I use my thigh. But usually I just do a rhythm strip, which just needs a finger or two from each hand.

The round clock type box will start to count down when a GOOD connection is made. I had to slide mine around a little to get the 'right' spot. My husband had to put lotion on his knee area, his skin must of been to dry.
