• A:Answer I believe so if you use the chargers from your devices plugged into this unit. Then, operate the unit on adapter mode only, not converter mode. Your chargers probably already operate on dual voltage 120v/240v. We used this adapter for our phones in Ireland, England, and France in October, 2017.

• A:Answer You only need to use the standard two prong plug we use in the US. Just plug your hair dryer in the front. The other plugs are used when you travel. Make sure to flip the small switch to adapter or converter

• A:Answer I have tried to use it in Spain, but all the plugs were too close to the floor or designed in to the wall which didn't allow me to use it. If you're just looking to charge your phone/extra battery, you can use just a regular adapter (the one I used was tiny) which worked in every hotel. I have an iPhone and my friend's adapter saved my trip. Also the converters don't work for everything even if you find a place to plug it in.
