No. You can add an Alpine CD Drive to this to grant you CD/DVD

No it does not. This is a Mech-Less receiver meaning it does not have any "moving" parts therefore it does not play CD's/DVD's. If you want CD/DVD capabilities basically look at Pioneer and Kenwood and JVC they all play CD/DVD. And there is 1 other alpine that does... But Overall if you are not getting this 9" screen model there is no reason to get alpine IMHO as they do not have something thats very important to me.. DUAL USB. as simple as adding 2 USB ports instead of 1.. Alpine is lacking in this up to date USB port tech lol..
