“Why is it such a failure? It froze within 15 min of usage! I was told by customer support in India it would take 5 weeks to replace. Wow! I will never shop at Best Buy again!!!!&”

Wow... you review is my experience too. I had 3 out of 4 speakers fail right out of the box and I am still waiting since Christmas for customer support action that I know in my heart is never going to come. Wish I had read your review before I purchased. Thanks for keeping it real. Best Buy did go above and beyond to help me with partial recovery so I have to give them due props. The problem is with Altec Lansing and their deceptive promises of customer service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought one and it quit working after 10 minutes. Took it back and replaced with another one and it quit working after 20 minutes of playing time. Took the second one back and exchanged for a Sony and happy now.
