A:AnswerI would not know why not. Also most phones can connect to more than one device at a time, so that might help.
I was looking into a rechargeable 12 inch Bluetooth sub woofer only to add to my Altec Lansing 800 for that extra layer of bass. That is what got me looking into connecting other devices.
A:AnswerThe speaker can use 110V, 12V with the car adapter, and its own internal battery. From the settings and manual I do not see anything about 240v.
A:AnswerThe battery MAH will sound like less than the JBL. 5,000MAH at full blast pumping the heavy bass with the device at 100% also - Set EQ to flat middle you will be surprised at what it does.
At half or less than half have run mine for over 24 hours.
Even all these years out on the original battery I crank mine to max for 5 to 6 hours a day with pounding bass, to all sorts of other music as well towed behind my wheelchair.
TIP: to prevent these built in battery speakers any brand from failing to the point the battery won't power it. Store inside your home, not the garage if not heated. Lithium batteries hate freezing cold.
Also when not in use find a corner in the mud room or someplace out of the way spot and keep it plugged in. The safety measures in the battery and speaker will stop the charge at 100%.
Most all lithium batteries have a safeguard that shuts them off 100% if they drop below a threshold voltage. Once this happens the battery needs to be replaced.
I am confused about the dynamics on how 5,000MAH can run for so long vs 20,000MAH as I was highly concerned with that also.
Of course it's a battery and they can even the built in ones be upgraded and replaced in time. If not by yourself then by a local electronic repair shop...
The JBL Boombox 2 has an excellent battery performance. It lasts almost 24 hours off a single charge, so you don't need to charge it every day.
Yet the 5,000MAH does the same for speakers twice the size and more power.
The RMS not the 420 PEAK power is the important part: RMS on the Altec Lansing is 105 watts by 2 Channels for a whopping 210 watts. I was looking at the JBL Boombox originally myself and I thought it had 4 speakers when it has two 4 inch sub woofers, tweeters and 2 passive radiators at the sides. They do not generate actual sound.
The Altec Lansing here has 2 woofers 8 inches each and two rectangular passive radiators on the back side. They allow the speakers to move as if in a ported box, while allowing the bass response to behave as if in a sealed box, yet like a open port box. This is for the JBL also, and man I love that little JBL Boombox design.
Hope this helps, yes a bit late...
